Getting Started With The Envirocycle Tumbling Compost Bin / Compost Tea Maker 1) Collect any household waste and lawn clipping in any container. 2) Toss collected materials in drum opening. 3) Rotate drum 4) Starts with a 50/50 balance of green & brown material. 5) You can add soil to activate first batch or just put a bucket of dirt as it already has the microorganisms that you will need. 6) Turn drum 3-4 times a week to get perfect mix & air circulation. Turning more often will make compost quicker. 7) Check for any foul odor and if odor is present add brown material 8) Add water if material is dry it should be moist not wet. 9) When the drum gets heavier, use a back, and forth motion. 3/4 full is your best amount. 10) Takes 4-6 weeks for finished compost.
